La Cuchilla bring raw rock ’n’ roll and punk together with original songs, dark humour and gritty storytelling.
La Cuchilla bring a direct rock ’n’ roll and punk sound to the stage. Their original songs pair dark humour with gritty, everyday storytelling, driven by a raw approach and old-school roots. They suit events looking for a rock band with a distinctive edge.
The four-piece features Ana Sáez on vocals and guitar, Jorge Cuevas on guitar, Alex Morales on bass and Periko Jándula on drums. Their live set puts guitars and a firm rhythm section behind their own material. They regularly play venues in Granada and have performed in Seville, Gandía, Alicante and Jaén. The band have also opened for Dr. Feelgood.
The set consists of original songs, blending roots-led rock ’n’ roll with punk. Dark humour and unsentimental snapshots of everyday life shape the lyrics. It is a good fit for a rock night that calls for an uncompromising live band.
