A young woman enters a fantasy world of living toys, dance and acrobatics, where friendship and courage help restore harmony.
La Cajita de los Sueños brings together circus, musical theatre and dance in a story that moves between everyday life and a fantasy world. A young woman opens a mysterious musical box and finds herself in an enchanted place where toys come to life.
The toys reflect different sides of the young woman’s personality. They include a soldier and a ballerina who share a romantic bond, as well as a robot keen to dance and a cowboy in love. Choreographed sequences and acrobatic acts accompany the characters through a series of challenges and adventures.
A wicked jester threatens the peace of this dreamlike world. With help from the other toys, the young woman and her allies overcome the danger. Friendship, courage and hope sit at the heart of the story.
The production combines circus, musical theatre and dance. Its characters and stage numbers make it suitable for audiences of all ages.
It can feature in local festivals, family celebrations, weddings with children among the guests and private events. It may also suit corporate gatherings that welcome families.
