La Bruja Roja blends original rock songs with Spanish rock covers, performed by vocals, two guitars, bass and drums.
La Bruja Roja is a rock band whose live set moves between its own songs and covers. It draws on the group’s recorded material as well as tracks by other artists, making the show a fit for audiences who follow the band and those looking for familiar Spanish rock played live.
The band features Jesús Sánchez on lead vocals and guitar, Álvaro Merideño on bass and backing vocals, Rubén Rodríguez on lead guitar, and Ángel Granado on drums and backing vocals. Alongside original material, the set includes covers of La Fuga, Extremoduro, Rosendo, Loquillo, Fito and Platero y Tú, among others. Two guitars, a rhythm section and several vocal parts shape the full-band sound.
On one of its tours, La Bruja Roja shared a bill with Melendi, Marea, La Fuga and Loquillo. The band could suit town fiestas, weddings, private celebrations and corporate events seeking live rock that pairs original songs with well-known material.
