La banda de Mireia is a musical show aimed mainly at children, led by Mireia Montávez, who appeared in the first series of Operación Triunfo. Four characters join her, each representing a season: Carlota is autumn, Hugo winter, Darío spring and Estela summer.
A story told through music and animation
The 75-minute performance includes 14 songs following the group’s adventures. The story takes place on an island of enchanted forests, where the seasons begin to lose things such as rain and wind. Mireia and her friends set off through a magical cave to find the missing elements, following a task given to them by the wise tree.
The production brings together educational songs, humour, dancing and visual animation. The four characters help young audiences follow the plot as the music and movement unfold. The band’s single “El Reino de la Banda” reached the top of the children’s music chart on iTunes on its first day on sale, and has a music video.

This is a story-led children’s musical, with songs woven into the plot and an educational angle. Mireia has also appeared in the musical “Peter Pan” and in performances at PortAventura theme park.
