K de Calle creates participatory street and children's theatre, with roaming shows designed for open-air spaces.
Founded in 1982, K de Calle is a theatre company creating shows for streets and public squares. Its work uses open spaces as settings for shared cultural and playful experiences, with a focus on street theatre and participatory productions for children.
Drakanthux is a street procession featuring a 16-metre mutant dragon. Disko-Funk is a roaming, participatory street show, while Rainbow Invaders brings animation to the streets. For younger audiences, Una de indios y vaqueros is an interactive street theatre production.
The performances are designed for outdoor public spaces. The company requires streets or squares closed to cars and traffic, a 220 V power supply and suitably equipped dressing rooms.
K de Calle can be considered for town festivals, children's programmes and outdoor events looking for roaming theatre, animation and audience participation.
