Juanito Makandé blends flamenco, jazz and funk in a distinctive live music option for events.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Juanito Makandé brings flamenco together with jazz and funk in a style shaped by musical crossovers. A singer, songwriter and producer, he pursued a solo career after performing in the duo Radio Makandé with Pipi. His music offers a distinctive choice for weddings, town festivals, private celebrations and corporate events.
Guitar and cajón have been part of his musical world since an early age. His songs combine traditional flamenco elements with jazz and funk influences. His solo releases include «Sueña», «Momentos de alimento» and «Las canciones que escribí mientras volaba», an album funded through crowdfunding. He has also worked with Trece and Banda Formal, and taken part in projects with Chico Ocaña and El Canijo de Jerez.
The set may include «Niña voladora», «Cuchillos por el aire», «Calores», «Kamikaze», «Tocar las nubes» and «Cantar desnudos». It is a live option for event planners looking for a blend of flamenco, jazz and funk at a wedding, private party, town festival or corporate gathering.
