Juan Tamariz brings together card magic, coin magic, improvisation and humour, drawing on more than 40 years in the art of illusion.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
With more than 40 years in magic, Juan Tamariz is a celebrated figure in the world of illusion. His performances have taken him to countries including the United States, Japan, France, Colombia and Portugal. On stage, he combines magic with improvisation and humour, drawing the audience into the experience.
Card magic and coin magic are central to his repertoire. Tamariz has also developed original techniques and routines, and written more than 15 books on magic and its theory. A playful manner and an ability to improvise are hallmarks of his live performances.
Alongside his stage work, he has appeared on television programmes in Spain and abroad and given lectures on illusion. His honours include the World Card Magic Prize, awarded in Paris in 1973, and Spain’s Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts, received in 2011.
His act may suit private celebrations, weddings and corporate events looking for a magic performance with humour and audience involvement. To see whether it works for a town fiesta or another type of event, ask about the format and the venue’s technical requirements.
