Classical guitar, jazz and atmospheric music for concerts, dinners, receptions and formal events.
Madrid-based guitarist and composer Juan Fernández-Savater offers instrumental music for receptions, dinners and formal occasions. A graduate of the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music in 2017, he can provide background music or a focused concert set, depending on the atmosphere you want to create.
The programme can take a classical, jazz or ambient direction. The classical set draws on traditional guitar repertoire, including works by Bach, Tárrega and Albéniz, alongside original pieces in a classical style. The jazz option combines contemporary material, adaptations of familiar jazz and pop melodies, and original compositions, with references such as Django Reinhardt and The Beatles. For a more atmospheric sound, Juan performs original ambient instrumentals using electronic effects on the guitar.
This solo guitar format can accompany a dinner concert, reception, opening, formal gathering or other event. Classical music suits a more traditional setting; jazz offers a modern feel for dinners and celebrations, while the ambient repertoire is designed for artistic and contemporary events.
A chair or stool is required.
The ambient programme needs access to mains electricity for the effects.
