Joqix is a rapper from Plasencia, Cáceres, with more than a decade in Spain’s independent scene. His live set puts the lyrics centre stage, moving between social commentary and competitive tracks. He may suit cultural, youth-focused and institutional events, as well as festivals looking for rap with substance. To book Joqix, contact Vibra for a proposal shaped around your event and preferred format.
Live format
The performance draws on his released and unreleased songs. The selection can focus more on social issues or on tracks aimed at getting the crowd going. The technical setup is straightforward: a computer, mixing desk, microphone and speakers are required. A stage is optional, and the speakers need an RCA audio input.
Style and repertoire
His sound draws on hardcore rap and socially conscious hip-hop. His lyrics cover politics, gender-based violence, technology addiction and violence, alongside competitive tracks. Releases include the demo Primeros Pasos, “Sistema Corruptivo” with AGCEX and “(Des)conectados”, a one-shot recording about dependence on technology. His influences include Duo Kie, El Chojin, SFDK and Kase.O.
Suitable events
Joqix can perform in venues, at institutional, cultural and youth events, or as an opening act at festivals. The song selection is tailored to the show and audience.
