Jimenos Band perform a live tribute to Joaquín Sabina, alongside a separate show celebrating Spanish music greats.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Jimenos Band formed in Valladolid in late 2010 and have played more than 1,000 concerts in Spain and abroad. Their main show pays tribute to Joaquín Sabina, with fully live music and a set that includes humour. The band features Ignacio Jimeno, Alejandro Jimeno, Fernando Sú and Chema Arroyo.
There are two line-up options: a full band for high-energy concerts in squares and marquees, and an acoustic set with two or three musicians for quieter performances focused on listening. The Sabina tribute can be arranged with municipal bands of up to 60 musicians. Both shows can be presented in this format.
Alongside the Sabina set, Jimenos Band offer «Grandes Maestros», featuring songs associated with Serrat, Aute, Los Rodríguez, La Cabra Mecánica, Manolo García, Manolo Tena, Loquillo, Miguel Ríos, Gabinete Caligari and Rosendo, among others. The Sabina concert runs for approximately 90 to 110 minutes.
The group have played over 900 concerts and supported acts including Loquillo, Los Chichos, Sergio Dalma, Manolo García and Los Secretos. They have also released two studio albums of original songs, with contributions from Jesús Cifuentes, Juan Luis Cano and Nacho Guerreros.
The full-band set can suit town festivals, squares and marquees, while the acoustic option works for listening concerts and more intimate events. Either show can be arranged with a municipal band.
