Jhetró Legrand performs a singer-songwriter show with humour, affection and the story of Adán at its heart.
Book Jhetró Legrand for events and concerts
Jhetró Legrand presents a solo singer-songwriter show that brings together humour, affection and social observation. Its central thread is Adán, a character whose story follows the twists of life from his expulsion from the Republic’s paradise to the present day.
Songs with a story to follow
The songs and narrative aim to entertain while giving the audience something to think about. Irony sits alongside more intimate moments, with Adán guiding the audience through the performance. Musical influences include South American and southern European folk traditions, African music, nueva trova cubana, the Catalan Nova Cançó, and the traditions of medieval Spanish juglares and clerics.
Running time and sound
The show lasts approximately 90 minutes and is performed by Jhetró Legrand alone. Sound requirements are suited to the venue, and he has equipment for smaller rooms. The format can suit concerts, cultural programmes and private events looking for an author-led performance with humour and ideas.
