JdV Rock plays classic and contemporary English-language rock in an interactive live show, with sound and lighting included.
JdV Rock brings together English-language rock covers from across the decades. Led by Javi del Val, the project draws on his live music experience since around 2010 and his work with orchestras, concerts, festivals, events, jam sessions and open-mic nights. He has led this covers project since 2022.
The performance is designed to involve the audience, with a lively mix of energy and feeling. Its broad covers catalogue can be shaped around the styles you want to hear. Sound and lighting are included: two 800-watt speakers, amplifiers, monitors, a mixing desk, LED lights for the performers and an LED lighting tower for the audience. The venue needs an earthed power supply with 4,000 watts available at the performance area.
The repertoire spans hard rock, alternative rock, rock ’n’ roll, post-grunge, metal, nu metal, pop rock, pop punk, skate punk and emo. Influences include AC/DC, Green Day, Bon Jovi, Oasis, blink-182, The Offspring, Linkin Park, Metallica, Muse and The Killers. Songs include “Highway to Hell”, “Livin’ on a Prayer”, “Ace of Spades” and “Africa”.
This audience-focused rock show suits weddings, private celebrations, company events and local fiestas. Its mix of older classics and more recent rock makes it a fit for events looking for a live band with a varied set.
