JdV Live is singer and guitarist Javi del Val’s live music project. Active on stage since around 2010, he focuses on familiar Spanish and English-language pop rock, with songs audiences can sing and dance along to. He can also cover a wider range of styles and perform original material alongside covers.
Flexible line-ups, with sound and lighting
Javi can perform solo with guitar and/or backing tracks, or expand the line-up to a duo or trio. Additional players can bring cajón or percussion, bass and/or drums. Sound and lighting are included: one or two 800-watt speakers, a monitor, mixing desk and LED lights, with an optional lighting tower for the audience. The performance area needs an earthed power supply of around 3,000 watts.
Spanish and English-language pop rock
The repertoire draws on songs from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, with influences including El Canto del Loco, Estopa, Pereza, Fito y Fitipaldis, Maná, Oasis, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and Green Day. Songs include “La Raja de Tu Falda”, “Princesas”, “Carolina”, “La Chica de Ayer” and “Johnny B. Goode”. The Spanish-language set is planned for two hours.
Live music for weddings and celebrations
The act can suit weddings, local fiestas, private celebrations and company events. Choosing a solo, duo or trio set-up helps match the music to the occasion and venue.
