Acoustic guitar-and-voice duo playing pop, rock, soul, blues and country covers from the 1950s to today.
JB on the Rocks are an acoustic covers duo featuring Jorge Martín on guitar and vocals, alongside vocalist Beatriz Sánchez. Their stripped-back setup puts the songs and the voices at the centre, while encouraging the audience to join in.
The performance is fresh, lively and dance-friendly, built around guitar and vocals. The duo can accommodate requests and adapt to an event’s needs where possible. They require a 220 V power socket and, for evening performances, a lighting system.
Their varied set spans from the 1950s to the present day, with songs in English and Spanish. Styles include pop, blues, soul, rock and roll, country and rock. Artists they cover include Queen, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Bryan Adams, Fito, M-Clan, Joaquín Sabina, Amaral, Elvis, Bon Jovi and Maná. A list of songs can be requested.
The acoustic format and broad repertoire make JB on the Rocks a good fit for weddings, parties, private celebrations and company events looking for live guitar and vocals with audience participation.
