Jazzmanontroppo blends vocals and instrumental backing in a live set of jazz, soul, blues, bossa nova and Latin music.
Jazzmanontroppo brings vocals and an instrumental ensemble to concerts, local celebrations and private events. The group takes jazz as its starting point, adding soul, blues, bossa nova and Latin influences. Its music can suit both attentive listening and a relaxed social occasion.
The band reworks well-known songs with a direct, energetic feel while keeping the performance intimate. Its repertoire includes Sunny, Flor de Lis, Dindi, Just the Two of Us, Ain’t No Sunshine and Chega de Saudade. The mix of styles moves between smooth jazz, soul and Latin rhythms.
Vocalist Lola Garcia began her career with a cappella group Coda and performed with them at jazz and vocal music festivals, as well as other venues. Jazzmanontroppo has also played at the Jazz Cava in Terrassa and at a range of events.
The group is suited to concerts, local celebrations and private events looking for jazz, soul, blues or Latin music. It requires a sound system for an instrumental quintet plus vocals.
