Iván Goya brings a modern touch to jazz and swing classics, drawing on the crooner tradition and his Latin-Mediterranean roots.
Iván Goya is a Uruguayan crooner based in Catalonia, bringing a fresh perspective to jazz and swing standards. His warm voice and assured stage presence suit hotels, theatres and celebrations looking for live music with a refined, personal feel.
Leading his own project, Iván combines the poise of classic crooners with contemporary influences and a Latin-Mediterranean identity. He interprets the material in his own way, putting storytelling and connection with the audience at the heart of the performance. The act is led by Iván Goya; the technical requirements include sound equipment, a wireless microphone, lighting and a 220 V power supply.
The repertoire includes “Fly Me to the Moon”, “My Way”, “New York, New York”, “Sway”, “Feeling Good” and “Volare (Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu)”. His influences include Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Michael Bublé, as well as big band concerts and the intimate atmosphere of a jazz club.
