An acoustic covers duo spanning indie, alternative rock and pop in Spanish and English, with a broad, adaptable set.
Indie Acoustic Covers is an acoustic duo for events seeking familiar songs in a stripped-back setting. Jose Luis Jiménez sings and plays acoustic guitar; Eddi González also plays acoustic guitar and provides backing vocals. The duo performs at public and private events, with experience at birthdays and weddings.
The act brings its own sound equipment and needs a power socket near the performance area. Its broad song list makes it possible to shape the set around the organiser’s musical preferences.
The repertoire features songs in Spanish and English, mainly from the 1980s and 1990s through to the present day. Spanish indie includes artists such as Izal, Vetusta Morla, Supersubmarina, Iván Ferreiro, Sidonie, Depedro and Second. The alternative rock selection includes Muse, Radiohead, The Black Keys, Queen and Kings of Leon, alongside Spanish pop from Loquillo, Los Ronaldos, Alaska, Fito y los Fitipaldis, El Canto del Loco and Pereza.
Tracks include “Creep”, “Starlight”, “La Mujer de Verde”, “Maldita Dulzura”, “Lady Madrid” and “La Chica de Ayer”, among others. The set can be adapted to the event’s preferences.
