Gudazaleak blend hardcore, punk rock and metal influences in a band formed in Bilbao in 2016.
Gudazaleak are a punk band formed in Bilbao in spring 2016. The project began when Txus, guitarist and vocalist, and Minas, bassist, started writing material for a new band. Drummer Pirri joined the line-up, bringing the group together as a trio.
The band’s music reflects hardcore, punk rock and metal influences. Their reference points include Etsaiak, Kuraia, Rip, Cicatriz, Sepultura and Suicidal Ten. The members have also played in other groups: Txus was part of Etsaiak, Lorebeltz and Pin Pan Pun; Minas of Amenaza; and Pirri of Mortis Causa.
Gudazaleak perform with guitar and vocals, bass and drums. The format suits events looking for a punk-led live set, including parties and music programmes aimed at audiences who enjoy punk rock, hardcore or metal.
