Live piano spanning pop, film music and original compositions, with classical, pop and new age influences.
GDS Pianist is the solo project of Giovanni De Simone, a Conservatoire-trained pianist. His classical grounding meets a contemporary approach, making the performance suitable for private ceremonies, weddings, corporate events, conferences and concerts.
The repertoire includes familiar pop melodies and film soundtracks, alongside original compositions. The music draws on modern classical, pop and new age styles, creating an elegant, emotional atmosphere for attentive listening or as a live accompaniment to an event.
Giovanni De Simone has worked as a soloist and accompanist, and has organised concerts. He writes original music, collaborates with other instrumentalists and leads a music association where he created «Ambientes Sonoros», a project connecting sound with the natural world. He has also developed an immersive music project using technology, imagery and virtual reality headsets.
Live piano can provide the musical setting for ceremonies, private events, conferences, concerts and art installations. The immersive project also offers a format combining music with virtual reality.
