Franco Sterponi performs acoustic rock on voice and guitar, drawing on British and Argentine artists.
Argentine musician Franco Sterponi performs a voice-and-acoustic-guitar show. The pared-back format brings familiar rock songs to weddings, private celebrations, parties and corporate events looking for live music.
His set puts vocals and acoustic guitar at the centre, drawing on British rock alongside songs by Argentine artists. It can suit an intimate setting or form part of the live music programme at a larger celebration.
His repertoire includes music associated with Elvis, The Beatles, Queen, The Police, Whitesnake and Creedence, as well as Spinetta, Charly García, Soda Stereo, Sandro and Gardel. He was named best Beatle solo performer at Semana Beatle Latinoamericana in 2006 and 2012, appeared on the television programmes Susana Giménez, Talento Argentino and Dar la nota, and was invited to Liverpool’s Semana Beatle in 2018. He presented the show during his BeatleWeek tour.
