Francisco Céspedes brings Latin American songs, familiar hits and new material to a performance shaped by his work as a singer-songwriter.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Francisco Céspedes, also known as Pancho Céspedes, is a Cuban singer-songwriter and a distinctive voice in Latin American music. His career spans original songs, writing for other performers and live appearances across Latin America and Spain. A performance brings together songs audiences know with newer material.
The set centres on his work as a vocalist and composer. Familiar songs include «Vida loca», «Remolino», «Nadie como tú» and «Señora», alongside newer songs. The selection draws on different points in his musical career.
Before pursuing a solo career, Céspedes performed with Cuban groups including Pucho López’s band and the Cuban Orchestra of Modern Music. Luis Miguel recorded songs written by Céspedes, among them «Pensar en ti» and «Qué tú te vas». In 1997, Céspedes represented Mexico at the Viña del Mar Festival with «Hablo de ti», placing second. His album «Vida loca» helped establish his audience in Spain, where it earned a five-times platinum certification.
His music suits concerts, music programmes and celebrations looking for Latin American songwriting and a repertoire familiar to several generations. For festivals, weddings or private and corporate events, the suitable format and technical needs depend on the specific proposal.
