An Extremadura tribute to Dire Straits, featuring Mark Knopfler-inspired guitar tones and classics such as “Sultans of Swing”.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Based in Extremadura, eXTREME sTRAITS perform a live tribute to Dire Straits. Their show revisits the band’s best-known songs, with a guitarist focused on the distinctive sound associated with Mark Knopfler.
Guitar is at the heart of the performance, which aims to recreate the character of the original recordings on stage. The set draws on familiar hits as well as songs from the band’s catalogue that are less often heard live.
Possible highlights include “Sultans of Swing”, “Money for Nothing”, “Walk of Life” and “Tunnel of Love”. The musical style is Dire Straits’ rock, performed with an emphasis on staying close to the original sound.
This tribute can work well at public fiestas, private celebrations and company events looking for a live rock concert with familiar songs. It may also suit weddings with room for live music and guests who enjoy Dire Straits.
