Joaquín Murillo performs solo saxophone at weddings, celebrations and events, with music spanning different styles and options for dancing.
Joaquín Murillo performs as a solo saxophonist at weddings, celebrations and a range of events. His saxophone can add live music to a special moment or provide tunes for dancing, depending on the occasion. He is also a composer and teacher of saxophone and guitar, and studied at Barcelona’s municipal conservatoire and Taller de Músics, focusing on jazz and contemporary music.
The act is built around solo saxophone. Murillo’s experience in ensembles across many styles informs a varied musical approach. He has also recorded several albums featuring his own compositions and music by other artists.
The repertoire spans different styles and includes dance music. This gives organisers scope to shape the musical atmosphere around the celebration rather than choosing just one genre.
