A vintage-styled quartet playing danceable hot jazz and classic swing for weddings and events.
Elefart Swing Quartet brings hot jazz and classic swing to the stage, with a vintage-inspired look. Based in Cádiz province, the group adapts the energy of early twentieth-century dance hall music to a compact jazz quartet.
The line-up features Lucía Carabaza on vocals, trumpet and ukulele; Jorge Cerrillo on tenor saxophone; Álvaro Pérez on washboard; and Enrique Huertas on tuba. Their lively set moves between melodies, syncopated rhythms and collective improvisation, encouraging audiences to dance. Period-inspired styling completes the performance.
The repertoire draws on classic jazz and swing, with songs including “All of Me”, “Cheek to Cheek”, “Honeysuckle Rose” and “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)”. Their influences include the big bands of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller, New Orleans jazz, and vocalists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.
Choose the quartet for a wedding, celebration or cultural event looking for live music with a strong rhythmic feel and carefully styled stage presence. They performed at the 10th edition of Festival Jazz Vejer 2026. For small and medium-sized venues, they can provide their own sound system; larger productions can use their eight-channel setup. The performance area should be around four by three metres, and outdoor stages need protection from direct sun and moisture.
