Book Elbicho for celebrations and events
Elbicho are an eight-piece flamenco fusion band whose members met at Madrid’s Escuela Popular de Música. They began playing together in small venues and on the street. If you are considering booking Elbicho, their sound draws on flamenco while moving across several other musical styles.
What the show offers
The band released its self-titled debut album in 2003 and has three albums. In 2011, they announced a break; vocalist Miguel Campello later pursued a solo career. Their history and line-up are useful points to discuss when enquiring about a booking for a celebration or music event.
Sound and repertoire
Elbicho’s music combines flamenco with rumba, tangos, jazz, Afro rhythms and classic rock. Songs associated with the band include «De los malos», «Mama dolores», «Locura», «Pa ti» and «Parque Triana». Their influences include 1970s rock and the flamenco of Camarón and Paco de Lucía.
Suitable events
Their blend of styles can suit festivals and parties looking for a flamenco fusion band. For a wedding, discuss the event’s requirements and the available format before making plans.
