All-ages theatre ranging from comedy to thoughtful productions about equality and other social issues.
El Terral Teatro creates stage productions for a wide range of audiences, in both smaller and larger formats. Directed by Antonio Guerrero, the company uses drama, comedy, emotion and reflection to bring each story to life and engage its audience.
The repertoire spans light-hearted work as well as plays dealing with serious, challenging subjects. Gender equality is a particular focus. Each production approaches its subject in an original way, and the precise theme depends on the show selected.
El Terral Teatro may suit town festivals, cultural programmes and events looking for a production that welcomes audiences of all ages. A comic piece can complement a celebratory occasion, while a socially focused play can prompt discussion. The right format and subject can be considered in light of the event.
Antonio Guerrero also coordinates projects that bring theatre and education together. These include Los Buenos Tratos, a campaign recognised by UNESCO, the Andalusian Government’s Women’s Institute and Spain’s Ministry of Equality.
