A string quartet offering Baroque, classical and contemporary music, soundtracks and original arrangements for a range of events.
EIMA Quartet is made up of four professional musicians based in Ciudad Real: Elena Muñoz de Morales and Ismael Huertas Gómez on violin, Marina Roncero on viola, and Alberto Alía on cello. Their backgrounds include training at European music institutions and performances with orchestras and ensembles in Spain and abroad, at venues including the Berliner Philharmonie and Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional.
The ensemble performs chamber music with a thoughtful, approachable style. Its repertoire spans Baroque, Classical and Romantic works, alongside contemporary pieces, original compositions and film and television soundtracks. It also features arrangements of music from Bridgerton and groups such as Izal, Viva Suecia and Coldplay. Each programme can be shaped around the venue, occasion and event requirements.
The four-part string format suits weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations and cultural events. Its range of music makes it possible to create a classical atmosphere or bring in modern references, depending on the feel of the occasion. The musicians also have experience in educational and music outreach projects, as well as traditional, modern and experimental styles.
