Doctor Explosion bring mod-influenced indie to the stage, drawing on a career that began in the 1990s.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Doctor Explosion are a mod-inspired indie band and a longstanding name in Spain’s indie scene. Formed in Gijón in 1989, they began with self-released singles before putting out music with Subterfuge. Their live show may suit events looking for a guitar band with roots in the indie and mod scenes.
The band’s album El Loco Mundo de los Jóvenes was released in several European countries and Japan, followed by an extensive European tour. Their discography also includes releases spanning the 1990s to 2011. Songs listed alongside the act include “¡Basura!”, “Eres feo, chaval”, “Rompí la televisión”, “Surf ‘n’ shake!” and “Drácula ye-ye”. Ask about the set list for your event, as the specific selection should be confirmed.
Doctor Explosion could be considered for town festivals, private celebrations and corporate events seeking indie with a mod edge. For a wedding, check the performance format and event requirements to see whether the show is a good fit.
