Aerial duo specialising in aerial silks, with experience across circus, dance, theatre and brand events.
Diego García and Elena Vives are an aerial duo specialising in aerial silks. Their circus act can suit corporate events, private celebrations, weddings and festival programmes, provided the venue can accommodate the rigging required for aerial work.
They have worked together as an artistic duo since 2007, taking part in productions across dance, theatre and circus. Their collaborations include magician Jorge Blass, The Hole 2, Cirque Éloize, Richard Bros Circus and Cirque Nouvel. Elena played a leading role in Cirque Éloize’s «Monaco ou les amants du Rocher». In 2013, they created their first independent show, «A la Deriva».
From 2011 to 2014, they created performances and scenery for Sendaviva. Their brand event work includes Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Toyota, Volvo, Coca-Cola, Seat, Whirlpool and Audi. They completed specialist aerial silks training at École Leotard in Montreal.
The act is suited to circus programming, corporate occasions and celebrations looking for an aerial performance. The venue must provide an anchorage point rated for 500 kg, a Zetac power connection for a Verlinde three phase chain motor, plus sound and lighting equipment.
