Despertando Las Neuronas combines theatre and live singing in a children’s musical story about science, wellbeing and community.
Despertando Las Neuronas presents a children’s musical show set inside the human brain, with Neuronilla, Neuronín and Neurona Melodía as its three friends. Through musical games, their story introduces themes including neuroscience, healthy living, care for the planet and civic education.
The production brings together acting and live singing. Neuronilla is a curious neuron, while Neurona Melodía sings during the day; together they wake Neuronín, who is a little sluggish. Characters, songs and games help bring the show’s subjects to a young audience.
Formats include the children’s musical theatre show Despertando las Neuronas, the musical show Un Buen Ciudadano, a concert featuring Neurona Melodía and the children’s show Un sueño de Navidad. Each offers a musical, educational approach to the event.
The show can be considered for children’s parties, cultural programmes and family celebrations seeking musical theatre for young audiences. Its themes may also suit events focused on science, healthy habits or the environment.
