A large-scale stage hypnosis show combining mentalism, humour and volunteer participation.
David Zauberei presents De Profundis, a large-scale hypnosis show designed for theatres, festivals, town celebrations and spacious venues. Mystery, science, mentalism and humour come together in a performance that invites volunteers from the audience to take part.
Through suggestion and imagination, volunteers may find themselves in unexpected scenarios: laughing uncontrollably, unable to part from another person, or imagining that they are a superhero or a beast. They may also picture their favourite celebrities through hypnotic hallucination. The scenes are built around each participant’s experience and the audience’s response.
David Zauberei trained in stage hypnosis with Jeff Toussaint and Jaume Bordas, and completed a two-year clinical hypnosis course at the Escuela Oficial de Hipnosis Online with Joan Luz. His approach includes rapid and waking hypnosis without lengthy induction processes. The show requires sound equipment, lighting, a microphone and chairs on stage.
The scale and format suit theatres, festivals, town celebrations and large venues. Volunteer involvement makes it a participatory entertainment option for a sizeable audience.
