David Rees brings together original pop, pop culture and the distinctive sound of his ukulele.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
David Rees is a singer, songwriter and music producer. He first reached a wide audience through acoustic covers performed with his ukulele, before building a career around his own material. His pop-focused performance may suit events looking for a personable live artist.
His releases include the EPs Vacaciones and Escalofrío, as well as the albums Amarillo and Culturama. The latter is a thirteen-track concept album celebrating pop culture. Its songs include “Memeland”, “Amor de película”, “De colores”, “Radio 2000” and “Superpoderes”. His work has also featured covers and mashups, including projects with Bely Basarte.
An acoustic set with ukulele can suit weddings and private celebrations seeking live pop music. The act may also be considered for parties and corporate events, depending on the performance format and the event’s technical requirements. Share details of the venue and occasion when enquiring.
