Cuenta y Cuento brings together storytelling, poetry, spoken word, variety and performance for children and adults.
Cuenta y Cuento is a small company formed by Gracia Iglesias and Pedro Chain. Gracia specialises in street theatre and performance, while Pedro is an actor and singer. Together, they offer a range of ways to bring stories and live performance to audiences of different ages.
Their repertoire includes children’s storytelling, poetry, spoken-word storytelling for adults, variety entertainment and performance. They also create tailored shows and activities for events, and are available to work throughout Spain. The format can be considered in light of the audience and the occasion.
Storytelling and poetry can suit family gatherings and celebrations with children. Adult storytelling and variety performances offer options for cultural programmes and other events for grown-up audiences. A bespoke performance may also be a good fit where an event calls for a live contribution shaped around its setting.
If you are considering Cuenta y Cuento for a wedding, local festival, corporate event or private celebration, share the kind of audience you expect and the performance you have in mind. This helps identify a suitable format.
