Cor Blackiblanc are a 30-voice choir performing gospel, pop and soul at weddings, celebrations and corporate events.
Founded in Barcelona in 2013, Cor Blackiblanc is led by Gunārs Kalniņš, a singer, composer, music producer and arranger. Gospel is at the heart of the choir’s sound, alongside other styles that bring a broad vocal programme to live events.
The choir can perform as a full 30-voice group or as a 15-voice half choir. The technical information lists sound equipment. These two line-up options make it possible to consider a format suited to the scale of the occasion.
The repertoire combines arrangements and original compositions by the director. Alongside gospel, the choir sings pop and soul. Its approach focuses on conveying the feeling of each song and sharing it with the audience.
With more than ten years of experience, Cor Blackiblanc has performed in Barcelona and nearby, including at the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, Centre Foment Hortenc, Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa and Hotel Melià Sitges. The choir takes bookings for weddings, private parties, celebrations and corporate events across Catalonia and Spain.
