Mediterranean theatre, dance and live music, alongside inclusive arts and workshops for a range of audiences.
Compañía CHENGO develops stage work shaped by a Mediterranean identity and a meeting of artistic disciplines. The company grew out of A SURDATA NNAMMURATA, a production combining theatre, dance and live music, which led to its foundation in 2021.
Its work spans theatre, comedy, dance, clowning and inclusive arts. Alongside producing performances, the company runs theatre workshops for children, teenagers and adults.
Live music features in the production that gave rise to the company. Its work also reaches schools, prisons and people experiencing homelessness.
The company may suit cultural programmes, educational activities and events looking to bring performing arts to different audiences. For a private event or celebration, ask which performance or workshop format would fit the venue and audience.
