Cloud Covers is a five-piece band of professional musicians specialising in covers. Its broad set list can be shaped around live shows, events and background music, with songs spanning different decades and styles. The musicians’ credits include the musicals We Will Rock You and Grease Tour, the show History of Rock, and work with artists such as Marta Sánchez, Pastora Soler and Alejo Stivel.
The line-up brings together vocals, keyboards, bass, drums and guitars. Aroa López is the lead singer; several musicians also provide backing vocals, and the group has players covering keyboards, bass and guitar. Cloud Covers can tailor its extensive repertoire to different events and performance formats. It includes more than 150 songs, from the 1960s to the present day. Sound equipment, lighting and staging are quoted separately.
The set draws on Spanish and international pop and rock, with artists ranging from ABBA, Queen, Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse to Mecano, Hombres G, Fito y Fitipaldis and Amaral. Songs include “September”, “Highway to Hell”, “Valerie” and “Uptown Funk”. This range can suit weddings, local festivities, private parties and corporate events. The band’s experience also includes events for brands, companies and institutions, as well as work in musicals, live shows and orchestras.
