A touring cinema and theatre event pairing a Full HD film screening with actors, set dressing, lighting and sound.
Cine Teatro Itinerante transforms everyday, unusual or outdoor spaces into a cinema venue. The Franco-Uruguayan collective of artists and cultural organisers combines film with the performing arts, building each event around a chosen screening. It can provide a shared cultural activity for family gatherings, community celebrations and private events.
The film is accompanied by actors and artists, scenery and atmospheric details linked to its genre. The equipment includes a six-metre-wide, three-metre-high screen, Full HD projection, sound, lighting, smoke effects and ambient music. The screening can take place indoors or outdoors, provided the space is clear, clean and supplied with electricity. Chairs are also required.
The film can be selected with the audience and venue in mind. Scenic elements create an atmosphere around its theme, bringing cinema and live performance together. This format may suit local festivities, private functions and outdoor cultural gatherings.
