A drag show mixing pop music, sharp humour and audience interaction for parties, clubs and events.
Chumina Power is a drag artist whose musical comedy show is made for lively venues. It blends performance, provocative humour and direct audience interaction, with dynamic sections that can be shaped around the mood and format of the occasion.
She performs on Spain’s nightlife and festival circuit, with strong links to Chueca and LGTBIQ+ events. Her experience spans stages, carnivals, galas and large celebrations. She also has a pop music career of her own, including work such as Voy a mil and original songs such as Mala Mala.
The set moves between original material, commercial pop and classics associated with Alaska and 1980s music, alongside party hits. Direct humour, questions, improvisation and audience contact are part of the show. The running time can be tailored from 20 to 90 minutes, with multiple sets also possible. Chumina Power can also host an event as master of ceremonies.
The performance is a solo act. The recommended setup includes a wireless microphone, sound equipment with an auxiliary input, and a stage or clear performance area. Lighting is helpful but optional, and a dressing room is recommended for preparation and costume changes.
It works for private parties, clubs, hen and stag parties, corporate celebrations, carnivals, galas and LGTBIQ+ events. For a drag show at a wedding or party, the set and audience interaction can be adapted to the tone of the occasion.
