An adaptable show bringing Argentine tango, Spanish dance and flamenco together, with live music and other dance styles.
Che y Ole - Más que Danza brings Argentine tango, Spanish dance and flamenco together in a stage production that can be tailored to the venue and ensemble size. The styles meet through fusion while retaining their individual character. Live music and links with other disciplines add variety to the performance.
The project is led by Hugo Álvarez and Cecilia Secchi, dancers, choreographers and teachers. Their original work explores the meeting of tango and flamenco, alongside classical and contemporary dance and modern jazz. The line-up and number of performers can vary according to the chosen format.
The artists have taken part in nationally and internationally award-winning productions. Their work as dancers, choreographers and directors has also taken them to Japan, Portugal, France, Spain, Estonia, the United States, Italy, Jordan, Israel, Tunisia, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
