A León charanga of 20 musicians, with brass, percussion and a megaphone for fiestas and public celebrations.

Charanga Manía is a León-based ensemble that traces its beginnings to 2002. The current line-up has 20 musicians, whose experience includes performances in hundreds of towns and at fiestas across Castile and León.
The band brings together trumpets, trombones, saxophones and euphoniums, with a percussion cart, snare drum, bass drum and cymbals. A megaphone is part of the performance. The group is also working on an arrangement of its broad repertoire for separate vocal parts, rather than playing in unison.
Its appearances include Benavente’s Toro Enmaromado, as well as events in Miranda de Ebro, Ledesma and Sahagún. In León, it has played at the San Juan and San Pedro fiestas and was the only charanga to enter the bullring.
