A nine-piece brass band with live vocals and a broad repertoire, from pasodobles and jotas to pop and current music.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Charanga Gurugu brings live music to local fiestas, hen and stag parties, and private celebrations. Its nine musicians combine instrumental playing and vocals to keep the occasion moving and involve the crowd.
The line-up includes three saxophones, two trumpets, trombone, tuba and two percussionists. The band also describes its percussion as caja and bass drum. It does not require technical equipment to perform.
The music ranges from classic to contemporary, with pasodobles, jotas, rock, pop, mambo, rumba and songs for children. That breadth gives organisers options for different parts of a celebration.
Charanga Gurugu can be considered for local fiestas, hen and stag parties, and private events looking for a sizeable live brass band with vocals and a varied set.
