Book Carlos Sadness, the Barcelona singer-songwriter and illustrator of tropical indie, for festivals, festivities and cultural series in 2026.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Carlos Sadness is one of the essential names in Spanish-language indie. His songs blend singer-songwriter pop with tropical rhythms, personal lyrics and a visual universe all his own. Live, that means bright, danceable concerts full of sing-alongs.
Born in Barcelona, Carlos Sadness is a singer, songwriter and illustrator. That double talent runs through the whole project: each album has a visual identity as recognisable as its sound.
His discography spans more than a decade: Ciencias Celestes (2012), La Idea Salvaje (2015), Diferentes Tipos de Luz (2018), Tropical Jesus (2020) and Realismo Mágico (2024), a path that has made him a regular at the big indie festivals with a loyal following in Spain and Latin America.
A Carlos Sadness concert combines his classics with his latest material:
Isla Morenita
Ahorita
Todo Estaba Bien
Feliz Feliz
Big Bang
Arenal Sound
In 2026 he released Arenal Sound, a song celebrating the festival experience, and his 2026 tour takes him to festivals across Spain.
His show works especially well with young and adult audiences looking for songs with personality:
Indie and Spanish-language pop festivals
Open-air music series and summer concerts
Municipal cultural programming
Town festivities with a stage for current music
