Carlangas blends tropical sounds, funk, rock and hip-hop in his solo work and with Carlangas y los cubatas.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Carlangas brings together the experience of leading Galician punk-rock band Novedades Carminha and the musical exploration of his solo career. After 14 years and five albums with the band, he began a new chapter with a self-titled solo record shaped by a range of influences.
His solo music draws on tropical sounds, funk, rock and hip-hop. He also performs with Carlangas y los cubatas, alongside Julián Goicoa, Brais R. Otero, Fiz García and Fer Areal. The group has reworked El Junco’s song «¡Hola, mi amor!».
The solo album features «Se acabó la broma», «Los dineros», «Regalao» and «Paseitos por Madrid». It includes collaborations with Manu Chao, Grande Amore and mundo prestigio. Novedades Carminha songs include «Te quiero igual», «Fiesta tropical» and «Ritmo en la sangre».
The mix of styles can work at town festivals, music festivals, weddings and private or corporate events looking for a live act shaped by rock, pop and urban influences. When enquiring, mention the format you have in mind and the details of your event.
