Personalised caricatures drawn live, over video call or from photos, with prints produced on the spot.
Caricaturista Online creates personalised drawings at in-person events and by video call. Artist Donato Sammartino can draw guests, family members, friends or groups. He also makes original illustrations from photographs and creates personalised products, including T-shirts featuring caricatures.
Guests can watch each portrait develop on a graphics tablet and screen. Drawings are printed in colour during the event on 250 gsm card, either A4 or photo size (10 × 15 cm). They are also sent by email afterwards for framing. The setup requires a table, chairs and a nearby power socket; a parasol is specified for daytime outdoor events.
The caricatures turn each sitter into a comic or cartoon character, without focusing on perceived flaws. The theme can be agreed in advance, and drawings can include a phrase, logo or details linked to the celebration.
