A samba percussion group offering street parades, stage shows with live vocals and age-adapted workshops for children.
Can Paulet Percusión · Bloco de Samba brings Brazilian-inspired percussion to festivals, private celebrations and other events. The group can perform as a roaming street parade or on stage with live vocals.
The parade takes its cue from the sounds and spectacle of Rio. It can include dancers, wind instruments in a charanga style and decorated floats. For a stage performance, the group also offers a format with live singing.
Children can take part in percussion workshops using instruments suited to their age. The session can finish with the participants putting on their own parade. The group’s children’s samba school also helps train the next generation of percussionists.
A parade works well for street festivals and celebrations where music can move through the event. The stage format suits venues with a performance area, while the workshops provide a hands-on activity for children at family gatherings and festivals.
