A Queen tribute with a solo vocalist, concert footage and the option to book the full five-piece band.
Black Queen recreates the atmosphere of Queen concerts, led by vocalist José Salvador Gonzálvez. The solo show combines live singing with costumes inspired by the band’s tours. For a fuller stage line-up, the act is also available as a five-piece band.
The performance features projected footage from Queen’s Montreal 1981 and Wembley 1986 concerts. Gonzálvez has higher musical training from Valencia’s conservatoire, and his baritone voice also covers the tenor range. Depending on the chosen format, the show lasts either one hour or one hour and forty minutes, with 15 to 20 Queen songs.
The set can include We Will Rock You, Somebody to Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions and Radio Ga Ga, among other Queen songs. It is a rock tribute built around familiar hits from the band’s catalogue.
Black Queen can suit town festivals, private celebrations, corporate events, theatres and small or medium-sized venues. The act provides sound equipment rated at up to 5,000 watts. Venue lighting is used for the performance.
