A band of musicians from Joaquín Sabina’s circle perform his best-known songs, with an opportunity for audience members to join them on stage.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Benditos Malditos bring together musicians who have worked alongside Joaquín Sabina for a concert built around his songs. The show pairs live performances with an audience participation segment, giving willing guests the chance to join the band on stage.
The first section features some of Sabina’s best-loved songs. In the second, audience members can choose a song and take the lead with the band backing them. The performance lasts approximately two hours.
The line-up is Antonio García de Diego on piano and guitar, Jaime Asúa on guitar, Mara Barros on vocals, Laura Gómez Palma on bass and Paco Beneyto on drums. García de Diego and Asúa co-wrote songs with Sabina, including “A la orilla de la chimenea”, “El blues de la soledad”, “Con lo que eso duele” and “Leningrado”. Barros is one of Sabina’s solo singers, while Beneyto was a member of Viceversa.
With its Sabina-focused set and invitation for the audience to take part, the show suits festivals and events looking for a live concert centred on his music. The chance to sing on stage adds an interactive element for fans.
