A vampiric cabaret character blending comedy, drag, improvisation, songs and audience interaction.
Baronesa Arabella Nosferati is a comic character with a vampiric look and an offbeat cabaret style. The act sits somewhere between drag, stand-up and a comedy show, with the audience drawn into the performance. She can appear as an entertainer or take on the role of master of ceremonies at special events.
The format can range from a short entertainment spot to a complete show. Improvisation and audience interaction are central, alongside singing, recitations of original pieces and covers, and stand-up sections. Arabella can also be part of a bill with other performers.
The character is created and performed by Piero Verzello, an actor with more than 25 years’ experience in live performance and audiovisual work. He has developed and played Arabella since 2011. Irreverent humour and an unusual appearance shape an unpredictable act designed to keep the audience involved.
The act can suit celebrations and special events looking for interactive entertainment, a distinctive host or a comic show. Her usual working area covers Barcelona, Girona and Tarragona.
