Angry Jack play up to two hours of English-language alternative rock covers, with vocals, two guitars, bass, drums and backing vocals.
Angry Jack are a Madrid band formed in 2015 by musicians from two groups with more than 20 years’ experience. Their live show centres on well-known English-language rock covers and can run for up to two hours.
The four-piece line-up features Álvaro Lozano on lead vocals and guitar, Adolfo Novo on guitar, Andrés Cánovas on bass and backing vocals, and Miguel Ángel Gómez on drums and backing vocals. The setup includes two guitars, bass, drums, lead vocals and two backing vocalists. PA and a stage are required.
The set draws on alternative rock and other established rock acts. Songs include “Basket Case” by Green Day, “Dani California” by Red Hot Chili Peppers, “Creep” by Radiohead, “Song 2” by Blur and “Take Me Out” by Franz Ferdinand. The repertoire also features music by The Rolling Stones, Weezer, Jet, The Hives, R.E.M., Cake and Midnight Oil.
Angry Jack can provide live rock for town festivals, private celebrations and company events. They can also suit weddings where there is room for a full band and the required sound equipment, particularly when English-language rock is part of the brief.
