Andrea Motis brings together jazz vocals, trumpet and saxophone, shaped by an established career and notable collaborations.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Andrea Motis is a jazz singer, composer, trumpeter and saxophonist from Barcelona. She began her musical studies as a child and joined the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, led by Joan Chamorro. Her work brings instrumental playing and vocals together, with experience in both ensemble projects and solo releases.
Her collaborators include jazz musicians Wycliffe Gordon, Jesse Davis, Bobby Gordon and Dick Oatts. She also performed with Quincy Jones & The Global Gumbo All Stars. During her time with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, she recorded eight albums alongside Joan Chamorro. Later, Emotional Dance marked her debut as a composer on an album.
Her sound is rooted in jazz, and her performances can feature her voice, trumpet and saxophone. The line-up for a specific booking needs to be confirmed for the event.
